Tomato Chutney

Ingredients

500 gms tomatos
100 gms jaggery
2 tsps chilli powder
salt to taste  a pinch of asafoetida
oil as needed
1 tsp turmericpowder

Procedure
 

    * Cleam and cut tomatoes, each in to four pieces.
    * Heat 4 tbsps  oil and fry mustard seeds.
    * Add tomato pieces and cook for 5 minutes.
    * Add jaggery, turmeric, asafoetida, chilli powder and salt .
    * Cover and cook on a low heat till tomatoes are soft and the gravy is thick.
