ORANGE CAKE

 

Ingredients

250 g Butter
180 g Caster Sugar
3 Eggs - Beaten
250 g  Self Raising Flour
Rind of 1 orange   }
2 Tablespoon orange juice   }
2 Tablespoon orange marmalade jame (course)
2 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
 
Method

Cream butter and Sugar till light and fluffy
Add eggs one at a time
Add in the orange rind
Fold flour into the mixture and add in orange marmalade, mixing the orange juice in between mixing the flour
Lastly  add in vanilla essence
Grease the baking tray and sprinkle flour throughly to prevent sticking
Bake for 1 hour with oven temperature of 160 - 170 Deg C
