Lemon  Rice


1/2kg rice  2green chillies
1 tbsp cashewnuts  1/2tsp turmeric powder
1 tbsp peanuts  a pinch of asafoetida
2 lemons   1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp urad dal  a few curry leaves
1 tsp channa dal  oil as needed
2 red chillies  salt to taste


* Cook the rice in water .Drain and keep aside
* Heat 1tbsp oil and fry the mustard seeds , chana dal ,urad dal, broken red chillies and chopped green chillies to a golden brown colour. Add turmeric powder and remove from the fire .
* Pour over the rice in a shadow pan.
* In Spicy Sauce
