Groundnut  Chutney


 


Ingredients

2 cup roasted skimless peanuts
a small ball of tamarind
15 red chillies
oil as needed
1 tsp sugar
salt to taste
a pimch of asafoetida
 
Procedure

    *  Heat 1 tsp oil and fry the red chillies, peanuts and asafoetida .

    * Remove and drain off oil completely on absorbent paper.

    * Pound with tamarind, sugar and salt.

    * Store in an airtight jar.
