BANANA CAKE

 

Ingredients

8 ozs Butter
10 ozs Caster Sugar
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
12 ozs Plain Flour (Alternative Self Raising Flour)
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
6 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Bicarbonate of Soda
4 Big Ripe Bananas

Method

Cream butter and Sugar till light and fluffy then add vanilla essence

Add eggs one at a time

Mash bananas and add bicarbonate of soda and add to the mixture above

Fold flour into the mixture

Grease the baking tray and sprinkle flour throughly to prevent sticking

Bake for 1 hour with oven temperature of 160 to 170 Deg C
